On Sunday we headed out bound for Mount Rainier. The trip started off well because we had our nicest US border person. He was genuinely fascinated by the gnu bed. After a few scheduled stops and some unscheduled traffic issues we were nearing Seattle. We stopped and made a quick dinner near Lake Washington. We used our spiralizer for the first time :) - zucchini noodles with prawns. Despite the heat we elected not to swim in the lake.IMG 7200Just past Enumclaw we decided to look for a spot to sleep. We enjoyed a great sunset and watched the super moon rise.IMG 7208IMG 7212We ended up parking near the entrance to Mud Mountain dam and recreation area - we set up the gnu bed with screen and shades and enjoyed a really peaceful wonderful night of sleep.
