Blue City to Rainy days in Portugal

The sun finally broke through on the morning of our second day, allowing us to enjoy breakfast al fresco! We spent the morning wandering the vibrant streets of the city, where we were treated to even more stunning shades of blue.

I couldn’t resist the allure of this beautiful light—the real challenge was squeezing it into my tiny backpack and then finding a spot for it in our well packed car!

We ventured to Akchour in search of its famed ‘waterfall,’ and though the mountains provided a dramatic backdrop, the real highlight was crossing paths with these adorable cuties along the way!

Our final night in Africa found us in Tangier, the White City, capping off our journey. With Africa and two of its famously colorful cities now checked off our list, we’re filled with unforgettable memories!

This beautiful mosiac was in the airport for our early morning flight.

Spotted this quaint little castle as we left Madrid. Now reunited with the Gnu, we’re hitting the road once more, ready for new adventures!

This bull was HUGE but hard to capture in a photo.

We went searching for this.

But severe weather warning was right and we only saw this.

Weather still quite crappy today but we were able to get a few views of the gorgeous Duoro valley.
