I bought this 2006 VW Golf back in May 2011, when it had only 48,600 km on the clock. Just yesterday, it passed the 430,000 km mark—and it’s still going strong as our dedicated road warrior. From local getaways to a cross-continental trek through Quebec City all the way down to Key West, and even a jaunt to Newfoundland a couple of years ago, this little hatchback has taught us plenty about life on the road. Now, armed with that hard-won wisdom, we’re setting out again—determined to be sleek, organized, prepared, and comfortable. Stay tuned to see how it all unfolds!
