day twenty four - Charleston - Savannah - St. Augustine + stop motion
We woke up and Cotty set up his sweet cooking station in a parking lot and made us yummy breakfast sandwiches which tasted better than they looked ;) After breakfast we went back into Charleston to check it out - we snapped a few pics for your enjoyment Cotty REALLY wanted pics of this bridge - these are the best ones :) Next up was onward towards Savannah - we made this for you:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvY9RcaajfY&feature=youtu.beand saw these fun things:This was my favourite store in Savannah - loved the honey and this was where we met our favourite Savannian - Danielle who provided the amazing music for our stop motion - Sadly TWICE we forgot to get a pic of her :(We had a recommendation to go here for ice cream - THEN Danielle mentioned they used their honey in one of their ice creams - it was probably the best ice cream I've had anywhere in the world - that's ice cream (not gelato ;)IF you find yourself in Savannah - do not leave without going to Leopold's to sample the Honey Almond Cream ice cream - YUM!!Here are some more random shots: These shots are for Andrea - you would LOVE this store - I walked in and the 1st thought in my head was: danger - lolAfter Savannah we drove to a sweet truck stop near St. Augustine Florida. A lovely truck driver gave us one of his free shower credits and we did laundry. Laundry was when I noticed to first downfall of the gnu - nowhere to hang up your wet laundry. We tried rigging up a system over night - it was NOT picture worthy or worth trying again ;)here are a couple quick snaps of our first Florida sunset:
