Istanbul to Athens May 13
This was our final morning in Istanbul. We wandered around in the sunshine, visited the Blue Mosque, and mailed post cards that we had written the day before.There were more photos than usual in the May 12 post so here are a couple Turkish vehicles that I didn't have room for.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.Ladies are required to wear a head scarf in the Blue Mosque
We went to Starbucks and I may have learned how to spell Mike in Turkish.
Upon arrival in Athens we were happy to find our friend Katja, a good restaurant, and a photogenic bakery :)
Early the next morning we would be on a ferry to Tinos!
