June 29, 2016 Day 8 Alaska (Glacier Bay Day 1) Alaska in flip flops pt deux

We woke up early at Dundas Bay - it was still buggy :( but we got going quickly and headed out to try trolling - the weather and conditions were spectacular but the fishing was not - we only caught one black bass that we let go. :( then we headed for Glacier Bay we got into Bartlett cove at 11:13 and just missed the orientation so we had to wait until 2pm for the next one. There was really great wifi, a nice lodge and so other cool stuff we went exploring and Judi randomly found sea asparagus - which we had been on the look out for :) This was a happy find because it has been tough to find greens.Eventually we were even able to check out phone messages on the courtesy phone in the lodge!!We then had our orientation and got under way. Judi got to drive :DWe ran all the way up to Tarr inlet and enjoyed the glacier and unbelievably spectacular scenery. Photos and videos do not do it justice everywhere you look is so spectacular! We even managed to scoop up some floating ice for our cooler!ultimate photo seems unlikely to happen - but we did get a few cool shots :DBreakfast - Fritatta with turkey sausage, zucchini and goat cheeseLunch - chicken marbellaDinner - Habilbut, sweet potato mash and steamed sea asparagus
