Rome and Venice

We enjoyed wandering around Rome. Made it to the spanish steps, the vatican was closed but we walked almost all the way around the outside of the vatican city. Had a nap while it rained, went to find Armando and Ariana (airbnb hosts) at the Trevi bar right across from the Fountain :) Cotty enjoyed suckling pork and other yummy things and we met some nice Egyptians. Tired bus ride and more pastries - YUM!!

Rainy day, moved to a new place. Walked through a cool park. Attempted to shop, went to the Spanish steps again and had a nap. We ate avocado/pizza/chicken for dinner - quiet day.

May 22, 2018

Early noisy morning. Easy transit and boarding the train to Venice :). Nap until rain stopped. Then we wandered around Venice which was delightful :D yummy pizza and salad for dinner. Unfortunately Cotty :( and Judi :( c’est la vie with so much fast paced travel.
