Sol Duc July 2013 day eight

We attempted to fish in Kyuquot Sound and made it to Rolling Roadstead Catala Island. Mary and I went for a little Kayak while Cotty cooked some nice lunch then Mary went for a beach hike and Cotty went for a paddle. We had no luck fishing and our crab pot came up untouched :( We decided to head to Tahsis for some fuel and we found the Westview Marina to be quite the sight. We were greeted with Jimmy Buffet and offers of beer, margaritas, and ice cream - After we tied up we found some of our Yacht friends and made some new ones as well. We enjoyed the sunshine and heat and also had a fabulous hot Sol Duc shower :) Salad for dinner and early to bed.
