Sol Duc July 2013 day six

We enjoyed a bit of a sleep in which we needed after a rough night of sleep the night before in Rugged Cove. We headed back to Columbia Cove to paddle up the creek and hike over to Jacobson Beach we walked along the gorgeous beach over to another creek and hiked up it to enjoy the friggid waters and Cotty went a bit further to the waterfall - did I mention the water was COLD!Cotty finds so many beach buoys.new ring design?Cotty catches dinner - which was nice after his twenty minute kayak turned into two hours and caused us a lot of concern especially after the wind changed direction and we had to pull up anchor and had no idea where to look for him.
