Day 4-5 - Cambridge and Toronto

We left off this story at the border. Judi snapped a couple of pics of the toll!! bridge to the border at Sarnia:IMG 6023IMG 6024We had a cozy but stuffy night in JJ’s driveway in Cambridge. Vancouver to Cambridge in 59 hours took its toll on us. It would have been so much worse if we had to deal with unhealthy food or stay sitting up for the entire trip. We got to see Bruce and enjoyed relaxing with JJ for the morning. After that we loaded the booth in gnu and headed for Toronto. Our first stop in Toronto was rack attack. Peter was the man. He tightened our racks and installed sweet load stays:IMG 6034Next stop was our friends in their new(old) place on Caithness Ave. They are very cute and enjoy getting photographed while doing wacky things:IMG 3769IMG 3773IMG 3775Judi made 1001 cranes for Chris and Gen’s wedding (for luck) - they are married nearly 12 years now - cranes are still around - looks like it’s working :DIMG 6036The next morning there was a reason to celebrate. Our “life and death” package arrived!!! We gave the canada post lady a standing ovation when she delivered it to the front porch:IMG 3791Now that we had it we were free to head towards Kingston. Our only stop on the way was at one of the fancy new en route rest stops near Port Hope. It was buuuuuuuusyyyyyyyyyy! Stay tuned for the next update from Kingston!
