day two - driving from somewhere in Montana to somewhere in South Dakota

We didn't push through it was too crazy - we stopped and slept our first night in the car. It was amazing!! So comfy :) -yay!!

Woke up pretty early and back at trying to get through Montana, which I now think of as Texas of the north.

Scenery has been pretty very reminiscent of southern Alberta which is to be expected. Only three states into this journey and we are thinking back to this time last year when we started planning this trip and the high in Chicago was 85F the high tomorrow is 25F!

Cotty also determined that I should not apply for a tourism promo job for Billings MO ;)

We are a lot further behind sched than we had hoped and we have way less wifi than we would use. We had to give Devil's Tower a miss because of Terrible visibility due to blowing snow!!!

We did detour to see Mt Rushmore in daylight - just - which was coolio - we keep losing hours as we head east ;)

Hopefully we can make up some ground today :)
