Up early beach shuttle (DUSTY) to San Juan del Surdiscover chocolate teafind a cafe to hang out in while we wait to meet up with our shuttle van (not shown here)We get dropped off somewhere but it doesn’t seem to be too near our place so we walk on the beach until we find it. This is the view from our room :D at Sirena Surf. Sadly Dar was not feeling well when we arrived so we hung out in the hammocks for awhile. We walk into town for and I have some more fish tacos at the restaurant on the top of the hill. Then back to the hammocks - I was enjoying knitting and listening to my audiobook. This is the view from the restaurant.Sunset :)Dar now feels hungry so we go in search of rice - we have the most hilarious lost in translation conversation in which Dar gives up and orders a quesadilla but gets a burrito full of rice.Up early again - Dar still not well - we hang out until she rallies - peak heat - and we start our LONG walk down the beach. Eventually we find some water and hang out on a patio/deck to escape some of the heat of the sun. We eat and drink and enjoy the wifi and hammocks.this is Cobano he lives at Sirena Surfthese rocks are good for writing.a bit sunburnt we hang out and enjoy the sunset and a fire.Last morning travel day - Carlos (our first taxi driver) comes to get us and take us to Pueblos Blancos for shopping, Masaya Mercado for shopping, The grocery store for shopping and the airport where we did a bit more shopping :)we are greater by a huge full rainbow on our last morning.we jump under the rainbow :Dmorning visitorslovely hammocks with a view.another Nicaraguan traffic jamPueblos Blancos is a town where 95% of the population makes pottery in the traditional style - they supply all of Nicaragua and also Costa Rica with their wares.
