Nicaragua in ten day - Days 7 & 8 - Maderas - Feb 12-22, 2018
Our last morning at Finca Mystica was leisurely and enjoyable. We made an unexpected new friend. Breakfast was my favourite smoothie the mystic colada and an omelet. Our Taxi driver was Joaquin and we picked up a friend Nadia from Montreal on the way to the ferry. We were met on the other side by Martin who took us to the Maxi Pali so we could stock up on food and beverages. He also took us to the Mercado and helped us but fruit. This is interesting and common art you see most places you go.bye for now Finca Mystica. These are the roads in Nicaragua - interlocking brick - how long must this have taken to make? Also this is traffic on Ometepe - those are big horns. The ferry was very, very crowded.roadie on the way to our new digs - Casa Dania near Maderas Beach - bonus she is both a surf instructor and a masseuse :DMorning wavesDar surfing :DThese guys make the most unbelievable noise - especially around 4am!! Howler monkeys - see if you can find audio of it - you won’t believe it!!Dar’s beach reading.Everything was closed on Sunday so we made dinner with what we had. This was lunch the next day - it was simple but delicious - the fried plantain were perfection. We both enjoyed wonderful relaxing massages by Dania - so lovely.surfer girlBeach views.this was a gigantic avocado - also delicious.Dar cocktail :) Made with Sorrel. We had dinner and drinks at the Jungle bar across the street - yummy fish tacos and mojitos.
