Waves and Wonders: Exploring the Picturesque Portuguese Coast

These colossal storks are a common sight here, crafting their massive nests atop posts. Apologies for the excessive zoom—it’s quite a challenge to capture their grandeur from a distance!

We stumbled upon these intriguing trees, all uniquely marked in this area. Can anyone shed light on what type of tree this is and what’s happening to them? We’re curious about their mysterious appearance!

Gnu enjoying the view!

Sumptious succulents by the sea.

We found some fun unstable cliffs to climb - :)

Does anyone know what would cause this rock formation?

Or this one?

For Kelly :D

So many giant holes around here

Couldn’t resist this marketing!

Space limitations meant I sadly had to resist this polka dot vase that is still callling my name :’(

Reminiscent of the Oregon coast with a hint of the Twelve Apostles, this coastline evokes the same wild beauty and dramatic charm.

I really love these sky windows - not sure why?

The stones here were unbelievably slick; it’s a wonder that people weren’t slipping and sliding everywhere!

Not as much safety as you would expect on top of these incredibly tall cliffs - we survived :D
