Fethiye Calis May 6
We jumped in the Renault and headed to pick up Stephanie and Julie. Had breakfast at a cafe in Calis. First experience of Turkish breakfast and menemen.
After breakfast we returned the car and decided to jump on the water taxi. There would turn out to be less "great deals" than Cotty the bargain hunter had hoped for but this was not the case for the water taxi. Half hour ride from Calis beach to Fetiye less than $2.50 cad each :)
After a simple turkish hammam experience we explored the town of Fetiye and ended up at the fish market / restaurant.
After supper we met up with Mustafa for a second time to discuss kilams. He was very nice and we learned a lot from him. We then scrambled to make it back to the car rental by 8pm to book it for a Monday Pamakkale adventure. After retrieving Stephanie from the bar where she was enjoying beers and a 70's cover band, the three of us headed back to Mustafa's and his giant stacks of kilims from central and eastern turkey.
Very tired by the time we got back to our cozy little room at Hotel Berlin.
